Following the launch of the Quest 3 headset, Meta has permanently dropped the prices of its Quest 2 headset, providing a substantial discount for VR enthusiasts. The 128GB version now sits at an enticing $249, down from its original $299, while the 256GB version is available for $299, reduced from $349.
Meta’s prices have fluctuated in the past, with a notable price hike of $100 for the Quest 2 headset in July 2022, which later dropped when the Quest 3 was announced.
Although these discounted prices were introduced during Black Friday sales, Meta has decided to make these reductions a permanent feature, enticing potential buyers to embrace the world of VR without breaking the bank.
Meta is also extending the discount to a range of Quest 2 accessories. VR enthusiasts can now benefit from the following discounted prices:
- Quest 2 Elite Strap with battery: Now $89.99
- Quest 2 Elite Strap: Now $49.99
- Quest 2 Carrying Case: Now $44.99
- Quest 2 Active Pack: Now $59.99
