Samsung’s AI-Powered Galaxy S24 Takes Center Stage

Samsung has unveiled its latest flagship lineup, featuring the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. Priced at $800, $1,000, and $1,300 respectively, these devices promise a leap forward in AI integration, revolutionizing the smartphone experience.

The Galaxy S24 series places a significant emphasis on AI, particularly in the realm of image editing. Samsung introduces innovative Galaxy AI editing tools that enable simple edits like erase, recompose, and remaster. The Edit Suggestion feature uses Galaxy AI to suggest tweaks, while Generative Edit fills in parts of an image background with generative AI, adding a digital watermark for transparency.

A noteworthy addition is the Instant Slow-mo feature, generating additional frames for a fuller slow-motion experience. Collaborating with Google, Samsung introduces Circle for Search, allowing users to trigger a Google search by circling a piece of text.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip plays a crucial role, instilling advanced AI capabilities, enabling professional-quality camera experiences, gaming enhancements, and ultra-fast connectivity with Wi-Fi 7.

The Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra sport 6.2, 6.7, and 6.8-inch displays, respectively. Storage options vary, with the Ultra available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities, the S24+ in 256GB or 512GB, and the S24 in 128GB or 256GB. The Ultra also introduces a titanium variant, following a trend set by the iPhone 15.
